FFA & National Western Stockyards Reclamation Project

The National Western Stock Show is proud to partner with Colorado FFA to introduce the Stockyards Reclamation Project. We will be selecting up to 10 chapters across the state to create wood projects using historic National Western Stockyards lumber. Together, we will create a cherished and significant inventory of wood pieces that celebrate our past as we look to the future redevelopment of the National Western Center. Part of the inventory of finished projects will live on at the National Western Stock Show. Auction & award items will be sold or donated to benefit NWSS, Colorado FFA Foundation, your FFA chapter, and other charitable causes.

Application process:
FFA chapters will apply online to participate, and applications will be reviewed by the NWSS & FFA selection committee. Chapters will have the opportunity to select projects they are most interested in, and also must submit photos of prior woodwork and/or prototypes. Because the wood is historic and limited in quantity, this is a critical component of the application process. Up to 10 chapters across the state will be selected.
