Colorado vs. the World Rodeo
This exciting rodeo features Colorado rodeo champions vs rodeo champions of the World in three opening-day rodeos like none other.

Invitational Ranch Rodeo
Ranch rodeos consist of teams of cowboys or cowgirls from different ranches competing against each other in events that mimic their everyday work on the ranch.

Mexican Rodeo Extravaganza

Filled with cultural pageantry, the Mexican Rodeo Extravaganza features Mexican-style bull riding, bareback riding, trick roping, Mariachi music, side saddle riders, and Portuguese-style bullfights all choreographed by Jerry Diaz, a fourth-generation champion charro

Invitational Freestyle Reining
Often compared to a figure skater's performance, Freestyle Reining competitions combine the athletics and finesse of Reining skills choreographed to musical themes, costumes, and a whole lot of horse and rider personalities.

PBR Bull Riding
The PBR Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour features top bull riders squaring off against the rankest bucking bulls in North America. Pro Rodeos
World champion bulls and broncs, cowboys and cowgirls roll into Denver for the first major pro rodeo competition of the season. From barrel racing to bronc riding - steer wrestling and mutton bustin', you do not want to miss a minute of the match-up between these two and four-legged athletes.

MLK Jr. African-American Heritage Rodeo
Celebrate the history and heritage of America’s black cowboy honoring the legacy of Bill Pickett and his influence on Black Western Heritage. This special MLK Jr. African-American Heritage Rodeo will showcase top cowboys and cowgirls competing in all your favorite pro rodeo events including bronc riding, barrel racing, steer wrestling, mutton bustin', ladies’ steer un-decorating, and many more.

Grand Prix

Pronounced “gron pree”, the French word translates to the term “big prize.” The prestigious event, the Grand Prix jumping technique, and precision require absolute cooperation and teamwork between horse and rider. It takes a special animal and a special person to compete at this level of competition, and with more than $40,000 in prize money on the line, this exciting event attracts top horses and riders from across the nation.

An Evening of Dancing Horses® is known for bringing together the best equestrian talent from around the world, performing to live music by Spinphony Electric String Quartet. Enjoy an evening full of formal dressage, reining, liberty, and other equestrian disciplines to wow any horse enthusiasts.

Draft Horse, Mule & Donkey Shows
Witness first-hand the immense horsepower of these gentle giants. Featuring the workhorses of yesteryear, the Draft Horse, Mule, and Donkey Show and pulling contest offers the beauty, grandeur, and sheer force of today’s draft horses. The final weekend boasts cart, team, unicorn, 4-horse, 6-horse & 8-horse hitch classes as well as various working horse events including the popular Feed Team Race. With four ticketed performances, you have several opportunities to bring the whole family.

Stockyards Beef Festival
