Applications for the 2027 show are now open!
The National Western Youth Freestyle Reining Showcase provides local youth an opportunity to showcase their talents in freestyle reining and be recognized during a prestigious event at the National Western Stock Show. Selected youth will perform prior to the $30,000 Invitational Freestyle Reining. Completed applications must be submitted no later than September 30, 2026.
Songs selected and used in the previous two Invitational Freestyle Reining events (including the Youth Freestyle Reining Showcase) will not be available for use in routines for the 2027 event. A list of unavailable songs is here.
