Press Release: Celebrate the MLK Jr. Holiday Weekend at the National Western Stock Show

Denver, CO – As the National Western Stock Show, presented by CommonSpirit Health enters its eighth day of the 16-day celebration, the best events are yet to unfold. This MLK Jr. Holiday Weekend promises a lineup of exciting activities, rodeos, horse shows, family entertainment, and more. With 90 percent of events happening indoors, it’s a great place to spend a chilly day.

Paul Andrews, President & CEO of the National Western Stock Show, invites everyone to join in the festivities. “Come on down and enjoy the Stock Show. We have 18 pro rodeos with MLK Jr. African-American Heritage Rodeo, seven horse shows, family shows including Wild West and Xtreme Dog shows, plus a full line-up of activities, shopping, and food.”

Paul Andrews also highlighted the convenience for attendees, stating, “We have free parking at Coors Field and complimentary, warm shuttles that drop you off right at the front door.”

Guests are encouraged to utilize the free parking available at Coors Field. The Coors Field lots open daily at 8 a.m., with complimentary shuttles ensuring a convenient 10-minute ride to the complex, dropping passengers off directly in front of the National Western Complex.
