Denver, CO – Anticipation and excitement have reached unparalleled heights as the Coors Western Art Exhibit and Sale proudly announces the sold-out success of its highly anticipated Red Carpet Reception, signaling a lively opening to the 2024 showcase. This exclusive event promises an unforgettable evening of Western heritage, philanthropy, and artistic brilliance, providing a backdrop for the unveiling of exceptional works by prominent Western artists, including featured artist Joseph McGurl.

Renowned for his unparalleled mastery in capturing the essence of Western landscapes and his exquisite rendering of light and water, Joseph McGurl adds an extra layer of distinction to an already illustrious event. 

Although tickets for the Red Carpet Reception have sold out, the Coors Western Art Exhibit and Sale officially opens from January 6th to the 21st during the National Western Stock Show, presented by CommonSpirit Health. Moreover, Tuesday, January 9th is Free Grounds Admission Day, presented by Arrow Electronics, providing an opportunity for the community to engage with and appreciate the incredible artwork on display at no cost.

Now in its 31st year, the Coors Western Art Exhibit and Sale remains a highly anticipated feature of the National Western Stock Show. Showcasing artists either rooted in the Western region or drawing inspiration from the Western way of life, the exhibition authentically celebrates the spirit of the American West.

As a nonprofit initiative, the Coors Western Art Exhibit and Sale is committed to giving back to the next generation of agriculture professionals. Proceeds from the art sale directly contribute to the National Western Scholarship Trust, providing scholarships to 120 deserving students in Colorado and Wyoming. By investing in the education of these students, the exhibition plays a pivotal role in cultivating future leaders in agriculture.
