The Western Stock Show Association (WSSA) is pleased to announce the election of Court Wold to its Board of Directors. The WSSA serves as the governing body leading the operations, strategic direction, and mission of the National Western Stock Show.
Wold has been an active member of the National Western community for years, serving on several key committees, including Membership, Nominating, and Citizen of the West. His long-standing involvement and deep-rooted commitment to the mission of the National Western reflect the core values of the Western Stock Show Association.

Court Wold – WSSA Board of Directors
Wold was raised in Casper, Wyoming, where he learned early the values of hard work, stewardship of natural resources, and the importance of family. His professional path began in banking before he transitioned into oil and gas exploration.
Today, he is business partners with his father, Jack, and uncle, Peter, jointly managing several energy businesses across the region. In addition to his work in the energy sector, Wold helps oversee a 700-head cow-calf operation and background feedlot in Johnson County, Wyoming, remaining deeply involved in his family’s agricultural interests.
A dedicated husband and father, Wold lives in Denver with his wife, Cullen, and their three children — Jack (13), Freddie (12), and Marilyn (9). Together, they are raising their kids to appreciate the West, value hard work, and engage thoughtfully with the world around them.
“We are honored to welcome Court to the Board of Directors,” said Wes Allison, President & CEO of the National Western Stock Show. “His proven leadership, strong agricultural background, and passion for preserving the Western tradition will serve the Association well.”
