Denver, CO – Despite some of the coldest temperatures in Stock Show history, the National Western grounds have hosted over 441,846 visitors since opening day, January 6th. With just five days remaining in the best 16 days in January, and warmer weather in the forecast, show officials expect strong numbers for the final weekend.

“With exciting competition like the pro rodeo semi-finals and finals, along with Dancing Horses and the Draft Horse shows this week, we look forward to seeing some amazing crowds at the complex,” said President and CEO Paul Andrews. “We appreciate everyone who came out and braved the cold to enjoy Stock Show thus far, and despite some of the coldest temperatures on record, the 2024 show is tracking to be in the top 10 all-time in attendance”, added Andrews.

The Stock Show will continue through Sunday, January 21st, featuring ten more pro rodeos, including the Pro Rodeo Finals on Sunday. Attendees can also enjoy six more horse shows, over 800 trade show exhibits, kids’ activities, educational programs, bison, yak, alpaca, and llama shows, along with the popular working stock dog competitions.

The end of the week will see the announcement of the Grand Champion Steer, which will be on display at the Brown Palace Hotel on Friday, January 19th. Guest Appreciation Day is set for Sunday, January 21st, offering $12 grounds admission tickets and free pony rides courtesy of 7-Eleven.
