Kick-off Parade

The National Western Stock Show transforms Denver into the ultimate Western destination, starting with the annual Kick-off Parade. On this one afternoon in January, downtown Denver’s streets are lined with boots, chaps, and cowboy hats to celebrate Colorado’s western traditions and the iconic National Western Stock Show. Kids, families, businessmen, and women get to step back in time and see a true western cattle drive with horses, cowboys, cowgirls, tractors, marching bands, and floats.

Stockyards Beef & Wine Festival
A perfectly seared cut of beef, a smooth pour of wine, and flavors worth savoring.
The Stockyards Beef Festival brings together premium beef sourced directly from the ranches that raise it, along with standout wines from wineries across the country. Each cut is thoughtfully paired with a complementary wine for a flavorful experience you won’t want to miss!

Skijoring
New for 2027!
Join us on January 18 for this first-of-its-kind event in Denver, bringing together Colorado’s Western roots and winter sports culture right here at the National Western Stock Show. Whether you’re a longtime skijoring fan or experiencing the sport for the first time, catch all the action as part of your day at the Stock Show.
Watch as horse-and-rider teams pull skiers through a course filled with speed, skill, and competition, combining the power of the horse with the athleticism of the skier. With horses thundering down the course and skiers navigating the action behind them, this is a unique opportunity to experience one of the West’s most exciting winter sports in a whole new setting.

Cowgrils & Cocktails
presented by: 
Round up your favorite cowgirls for an evening of connection, conversation, and cocktails! Cowgirls & Cocktails brings women together to celebrate the western way of life, build meaningful relationships, and enjoy a fun evening with fellow women who share a passion for agriculture, horses, and the West. Whether you’re a lifelong cowgirl or simply interested in the western community, everyone is welcome to join the celebration.
Ticket Inclusion: Each ticket will include 1 drink voucher, heavy apps, and access to western shopping experiences.Â
