Grounds Admission
There is so much to see and do with your Grounds Admission ticket. From Mutton Bustin’ to shopping – kids shows to meandering through the historic yards to see the different cattle breeds. There is lots to see, do and smell at Stock Show!
Colorado vs. the World Rodeo
This exciting rodeo features Colorado rodeo champions vs rodeo champions of the World in three opening-day rodeos like none other.

Performance Horse Showdown
Reining, roping and reined cow horse will join forces on opening day of the National Western Stock Show in a newly created feature called the Performance Horse Showdown.

Invitational Ranch Rodeo
Ranch rodeos consist of teams of cowboys or cowgirls from different ranches competing against each other in events that mimic their everyday work on the ranch. Ranch rodeos differ from the more common “Pro Rodeo” in several ways.

Mexican Rodeo Extravaganza
Filled with cultural pageantry, the Mexican Rodeo Extravaganza features Mexican-style bull riding, bareback riding, trick roping, Mariachi music, side saddle girls, and the Portuguese style Bull Fights all choreographed by Jerry Diaz, a fourth-generation champion charro.

Invitational Freestyle Reining
The top reiners in the nation participate in this event, making the $30,000 Invitational Freestyle Reining unique to any horse show in the world. Even if this is your first horse show, you’re sure to love reining’s elegance and athleticism.

PBR Bull Riding
The PBR Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour features top bull riders squaring off against the rankest bucking bulls in North America. Fans will witness exhilarating 8-second rides and wrecks throughout the action-packed event as the PBR’s courageous riders face off against their 2,000-pound, animal-athlete opponents.

Pro Rodeos
World champion bulls and broncs, cowboys and cowgirls roll into Denver for the first major pro rodeo competition of the season. From barrel racing to bronc riding – steer wrestling and mutton bustin’, you do not want to miss a minute of the match-up between these two and four-legged athletes.

Dog lovers unite for a show full of amazing tricks, aerial stunts, and unpredictable antics, all performed by man’s best friend. MLK Jr. African-American Heritage Rodeo
Celebrate the history and heritage of America’s black cowboy at this special MLK Jr. African-American Heritage Rodeo.
We will showcase top cowboys and cowgirls competing in your favorite rodeo events including bronc riding, barrel racing, steer wrestling, mutton bustin’, ladies’ steer un-decorating, and many more.

Grand Prix
Pronounced “gron pree”, the French word translates to the term “big prize.” The prestigious event, the Grand Prix jumping technique, and precision require absolute cooperation and teamwork between horse and rider. It takes a special animal and a special person to compete at this level of competition, and with more than $40,000 in prize money on the line, this exciting event attracts top horses and riders from across the nation.
