Calling All Singers

National Western is on the hunt for a National Anthem singer this January! Warm up your vocal cords, and dust off your boots -- the National Anthem contest opens October 7th. Details are below -- good luck!

Video Submissions

Open October 7 - October 20 at midnight.
Videos must be recorded for this contest, using the opening script provided. Videos from live events, previous years, or other contests will not be accepted.

Video Script: Hi/Hello, my name is (we are) ____, from ____(city, state), and I'm auditioning to sing the National Anthem at the 2025 National Western Stock Show.

Voting

The top 9 videos submitted will be selected to move into the voting round. The top 9 singers will be contacted on October 22nd, and voting will begin on October 23rd. The video with the most likes/votes will win the grand prize.

Voting Timeline: October 23 - November 6 at 11:59 pm

Winner

The voting closes on November 6 at 11:59 pm, the winner will be contacted on November 7th and will be announced live on the radio with 98.5 KYGO on November 8.

Grand Prize: One lucky winner will get to sing the National Anthem at a pro rodeo during the 2025 National Western Stock Show.
